APOSTLE V. A. BLACK
Apostle V.A. Black, a native of Trelawny, Jamaica, has dedicated his life to powerful evangelism and church planting. His early zeal led to church establishment in Jamaica, and after migrating to the U.S., he continued his impactful work within the Born Again Church of Jesus Christ, Apostolic, notably leading a great revival in Heflin, Alabama, marked by conversions and miracles.
Driven by a divine mandate, Apostle Black founded THE DELIVERANCE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST APOSTOLIC, INC. This ministry expanded to multiple locations across Alabama, North Carolina, and Florida, where his anointed preaching brought deliverance from sin and sickness to countless individuals. A gifted five-fold minister and a man of prayer, Apostle Black is also known for his prophetic accuracy and enduring passion for lost souls.
He was married for 56 years to the late Evangelist Linda Black. From this blessed union, they had six children, all of whom are now saved and ordained ministers, passionately carrying forward their parents' legacy in ministry. Apostle Black is also blessed with other beloved children, and he continues to reside in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
